What is Electrostatic Painting?
Electrostatic painting is also known as powder coating. Dry powder is fed from a spray gun where a high voltage charge sends the powder out, the charged powder particles are attracted to the metal and plastic surface areas and upon contact become melted and fused into a smooth coating in the curing oven.
It’s considered to be more durable than liquid paint and can prevent any sags, runs, drops, and bubbles which can occur with regular paint. In addition, it’s eco-friendly as no solvents or solutions contain epoxy, urethane, or polyester have to be flushed away.
